Xakanaxa - Moremi Game Reserve
The Xakanaxa lagoon, at the tip
of the Moremi tongue, is incredible beautiful, where the forests meet
a patchwork of waterways. Herds of antelope attract their main predators
- lions, leopard and cheetahs. Virtually every corner reveals a scene
of exquisite beauty. Many of the pools and lagoons offer excellent
look-out points.
Xakanaxa is the only developed
area within Moremi Game Reserve, with lodges and a campsite. Its
name is derived from the crescent-shaped lagoon overlooked by Camp
Moremi and utilised by all the camps.
