Nxabega Okavango Safari Camp
Nxabega Okavango Safari Camp is situated
under dense stands of African ebony and strangler fig trees in an
exclusive wildlife concession. The lodge is a mixture of Afro-chic
and classic safari, with ostrich egg chandeliers, cow hide rugs,
leather headboards, and porcupine quill lamp shades - and Nxabega's
ten classic Hemingway tents have been styled to match its calm elegance.
Crisp white linen, soft hide headboards, parchment lampshades, and
dressing tables with leather boxes set the scene. Each tent has
an en suite hot/cold shower and a private wooden verandah, shaded
under a canvas canopy.
Guests have a wide range of daily activities
from which to choose, including meandering along the floodplains
and channels of the delta by mokoro (dugout canoe), or tracking
big game, on foot or in 4x4 safari vehicles, in the mopane forest
and open grassland. The added highlight of an evening game drive
by spotlight assures you of the most complete lodge experience in
Botswana.
